The Body-Mind Connection
"When you think a thought you make a molecule. To think is to practice brain chemistry. And in fact these thoughts are translated into very precise molecules known as neuropeptides. '"Neuro"' because they were first found in the brain. And 'peptides' because they're protein-like molecules. Amazing isn't it? I'm a firm believer in the old saying "If you think you can't - or if you think you can - then your probably right." I don't think that we give enough credence to the idea that WE are in control of our existance - our reality. And this article goes back to Newton's Law of Attraction - that is, "like attracts like." The basic ying and yang of the universe - the balancing required. If you put negativity out - you get it back - and vice versa. When you think negative thoughts, you create a negative reality for yourself. Negative neuro-peptides. And the Law of Attraction in the universe dictates that you get it back. So our thoughts can control our reality. Always best to make sure that their POSITIVE. For a better understanding - watch or read - "The Secret." Thanks, rlowe! MIRROR OF APHRODITE

Did you read a book by psychiatrist Daniel Amen, who is Catholic, called Change Your Brain, Change Your Life?
He talks about the impact of negative thoughts on brains that are eventually more subject than others to Alzheimers.
really? i may have to check that book out.. i have a mild case of alzheimers but its because of nuerological disorder...
but yeah, the human-mind is wonderful thing.. and its still a mystery!
